Created to Worship

This 4-week series explores themes related to worship and the sacraments. Everyone worships something because we all were created by God to be worshipers. The Lord is seeking those who will worship him in Spirit and truth. The sermon texts highlight for us that worship goes far beyond what we do during the hour we're in church. We're invited into worship that is a holistic way of life with Christ's values at our core. The series kicks off with All Saints Sunday, on which we're reminded of the blessedness of belonging, and concludes with Christ the King Sunday, on which we hear of Christ's glorious throne and second coming. Scripture selections are taken from the prescribed lectionary readings for Year A (p. 728 in the Book of Common Prayer).
