Outdoor Communion Service - 10:00 AM

Sunday, December 6th we will come together for worship and some socially distant fellowship. Join us for an outdoor worship service, drive-in style! We will have one service at 10:00 AM. This will be broadcast over the radio in the parking lot. You can stay in your car or park and sit in a designated seating area. Also, we will be collecting canned goods and non-perishables to help stock the local food pantries. Learn more below. Don't miss this special Sunday to safely come together.

Important Details and Information

Arriving at Grace Anglican
Please use Hwy 17 to enter onto campus. Our back entry gate will be closed Sunday morning. Once on campus, we will have lots of friendly greeters directing you where to park, depending on if you are staying in your car or parking and sitting outside.

Worship Packets
As you enter on campus, we will have greeters with worship bulletins and any other resources you may need to follow along in Sunday's service. You can also download the worship bulletins here to follow along in your cars or if you're watching from home online:

These resources will be available by Friday afternoon the week prior:

If you are watching from home, please note that words will not be on the screens this Sunday.

Radio
Once on campus, look for signage to direct you to our radio channel so you can listen from your cars. We will also have speakers broadcasting the service.

Food Collection Drive
Provide food for families and individuals in need by bringing canned and/or non-perishable food items to the outside service. A food collection area will be located near the church office doors. Team members from the Prime Time Food Collection will collect, sort, and deliver these items to the food pantries in Green Cove Springs and Orange Park later that week. Help us stock the food pantries and help those in need this season.

Online
For those viewing from home, the service will be broadcast through our website or on Facebook Live. You can watch it here

Seating
If you are sitting outside, please bring your own lawn chair. We will have a designated seating area in front of the altar area. We will have plenty of ushers available to help direct you. We ask that you please keep 6 ft. of social distancing. To keep everyone safe when walking back to your cars, please wait for special dismissal instructions at the end of the service.

Communion
Communion is available for all baptized followers of Jesus. For those who would like to participate, you will have two different options to receive communion:

1. Two stations will be available for those sitting outside or those who wish to come forward from their cars.
2. Eucharistic ministers will also come through the rows of cars with bags of consecrated elements.

Children
Parents, make sure to stop by the GraceKids fun stop tent on your way in. Jennifer, our Director of Children's Ministry, will have fun Advent activities for kids to do during the service.

Coffee
We will have coffee stations set up during and after the service. Join us for some fun fellowship.

What to Wear
We encourage everyone to dress casually. Be sure to check the weather that morning to see if sweaters might be needed.

Restrooms
Restrooms will be available at the Barn and in the Admin Building (accessed through the Fellowship Hall doors). Please wear a mask as you enter any indoor buildings.

Rain Plans
Please check our website, Facebook, and emails for any weather updates. If there are any changes to the service due to weather, this will be posted by 8:00 AM that Sunday morning.

We look forward to seeing you here!
