Prepare the Way: Advent with John the Baptist

This Advent, our sermon series will be tracking four Gospel encounters with John the Baptist, Jesus' cousin and prophetic forerunner. We'll explore the nature of salvation, repentence, the Kingdom of God and Spirit-filled worship. Advent is historically a penitential season, an opportunity to take a closer look at our lives and make some course corrections in light of the coming reality that the Judge of the world has come once and will come again. The thought of both 'advents' of Jesus can give any sincere Christain great expecations, full of hope and joy. Let us rejoice in God our Savior! Join us this Sunday for Advent I.
