Minor Prophets Major Truths

The 12 "Minor Prophets" have an unfortunate label. They are "minor" only in the sense that their length is much shorter than the Major Prophets. The contents of these prophetic writings are packed full of powerful truths about God's holiness, love, and patience with sinners. The prophets were God's legislative prosecutors calling the kings of Israel and Judah back to covenant faithfulness. There are many favorite and memorable passages scattered throughout the Minor Prophets. Over the next twelve weeks, we will select one passage from each of the Minor Prophets, following the order in which the books are arranged in Scripture, to help our church get an overview of this often overlooked part of the Bible. Join us each Sunday as we explore the life of ancient Israel from the days of the Kings.
