Summer Sermon Series and Summer Groups

Christianity offers us new life in Christ and hope for the future, but nowhere does Scripture teach that our lives will be problem free.  Jesus said, "In this world you will have trouble." So how do we find our way? The book of Proverbs describes the wise person as one who handles life well. Conversely, the fool does not. Two ways are presented and their outcomes graphically depicted. This book is highly practical. It has been written to make its reader wise, but it is not a self-help book. Such wisdom comes by seeing how the world works through the eyes of faith in a relationship with God. We will be asking God to impart his wisdom to us through Jesus, the one in whom is hidden all of God's wisdom (Col. 2:3). Let's join together over the next eight weeks and learn to walk wisely in this fool's world.

Groups go into deeper discussions of each week's sermon topic on Proverbs in a smaller setting. Groups will be available Sunday - Thursday, and you can jump into a group at any time. These groups are also flexible. If you missed your usual group meetup, you can join a group on a different day or time. Contact Deidre with any questions.
