Maundy Thursday - Holy Eucharist Service

Maundy Thursday receives its name, from the mandatum (commandment) given by Jesus: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another" (John 3:34). This year we will ponder the first four days of Holy Week, celebrate the institution of the Eucharist in a solemn but deeply thankful manner, and prepare ourselves for Good Friday. Our Senior Pastor, Mike McDonald and Jennifer Lancaster, our Children's Ministry Director, will simultaneously be conducting a class for children about Holy Communion (see below), which will join with the larger church at the appropriate time for communion. Childcare for this service is available for nursery through age 4. This service will be available online.

Children’s Maundy Thursday Communion Class

Children (K-6th) are invited to participate in a special class designed to teach children about Maundy Thursday, the events of Holy Week, and help them understand the meaning of communion. Children will join their parents for Holy Communion at the Maundy Thursday service. Please contact Jennifer Lancaster with any questions.
